Sipra AGrawal Kolar

Praised for a voice that “grew truer and sweeter the higher she sang” (Boston Globe), Sipra Agrawal Kolar has established herself as a concert soloist and ensemble artist. Having a particular passion for chamber ensembles, Sipra has collaborated with the Voices Chamber Choir, Mysterium Ensemble, and First Inversion Vocal Ensemble in Rochester, NY. She has also performed with Capella Clausura based out of Newton, MA, and is so excited to be performing again as part of the Viva Bach Festival in Peterborough, NH. Sipra’s solo concert performances include the Fauré Requiem, Handel Messiah, Bach Mass in B Minor, Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, and Respighi’s Lauda per la Natività del Signore. She most recently performed as featured soprano soloist with the New Hampshire Philharmonic. Sipra has had the pleasure of performing in such venues as Jordan Hall and Lincoln Center; and has sung in masterclass with Renée Fleming. Sipra holds a Master of Music from New England Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music from the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam). Sipra currently serves as Director of Performance and Recruitment at the Manchester Community Music School. Sipra lives in Bedford with her cellist husband, two kiddos, and merle mini poodle.
