Viva Bach Peterborough continues the 2024 Festival on October 26 with an enchanting evening of chamber music, showcasing some of Bach’s most beloved and inventive works. The program includes the intricate Ricercar a 3 and radiant Trio Sonata from The Musical Offering (BWV 1079), the elegant Orchestral Suite in B minor (BWV 1067), and the joyful Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 (BWV 1049).
The concert brings together a distinguished ensemble of Festival musicians: flutists Matthew Lee and Jeff Harley; violinists Joana Genova, Jaroslaw Lis, and Artistic Director Veronika Schreiber; violist AhLing Neu; cellist Ignacy Gaydamovich; double bassist Wayne Roberts; and harpsichordist Gregory Hayes. Together, these artists will illuminate Bach’s genius for counterpoint, color, and collaboration in an intimate setting.

Matthew Lee (flute) is a Boston-based, New Zealand flutist, conductor, and educator who has performed widely throughout New England and beyond.
Jeff Harley (flute) brings rich experience as both soloist and ensemble player, known for his lyrical style and versatility across Baroque and modern repertoire.
Joana Genova (violin) is an internationally acclaimed chamber musician and co-artistic director of Taconic Music.
Jaroslaw Lis (violin) is a sought-after chamber and orchestral violinist, active in performances throughout the Northeast.
Veronika Schreiber (violin), Artistic Director of Viva Bach Peterborough, is a celebrated violinist and former concertmaster of the Polish Chamber Orchestra.
AhLing Neu (viola) performs regularly with ensembles across New England and is admired for her warm sound and expressive playing.
Ignacy Gaydamovich (cello) is a versatile soloist and chamber musician, with a repertoire spanning Baroque to contemporary.
Wayne Roberts (double bass) anchors the ensemble with his rich tone and dynamic artistry.
Gregory Hayes (harpsichord) recently retired as Senior Lecturer at Dartmouth College and is a highly regarded collaborative musician known for his inspired Festival performances.
